The Atlanta Falcons are giving backup QB Feleipe Franks reps at TE as they continue to try and use him in a more hybrid role.
Fantasy Impact: Franks is 6-foot-7 and ran the 40-yard dash in 4.61 seconds. Frankly, this was expected to happen at some point. Last season, Franks only played limited snaps, rushing three times for six yards and passing once for a pick-six. The drafting of QB Desmond Ridder and the signing of Marcus Mariota allowed the Falcons to have the flexibility to move Franks into a new role as teams continue to chase the success the Commanders had with Logan Thomas. Alongside Pitts, the Falcons will have two athletic options to use as move tight ends. However, while they are fun, hybrid players never hold much value in fantasy.
