Gardner Minshew II completed 24 of his 40 pass attempts for 355 yards, two touchdowns, and two interceptions in Saturday’s loss to the Cowboys. He also rushed for a touchdown and fumbled twice, losing one.
Fantasy Impact: Minshew performed admirably in place of the injured Jalen Hurts, but turnover issues and lackluster defense ultimately doomed the Eagles. Minshew was technically responsible for three of Philadelphia’s four turnovers, but you could argue that neither interception was really his fault, and the lost fumble game on a botched handoff to RB Miles Sanders. Hurts is reportedly pushing to play in Week 17 against the Saints, but it’s possible the team holds him out again and tries to win and lock up the No. 1 seed with Minshew.
