Garrett Wilson caught 1-of-5 targets for eight yards in New York’s 27-10 win against the Packers in Week 6.
Fantasy Impact: Wilson caught a season low one ball on five targets (2nd lowest total) for a, by far, season low of eight yards. Wilson caught 18-of-33 targets for 214 yards and two touchdowns in the first three weeks of the season. In the three game since then, he has caught 6-of-15 targets for just 76 yards. The biggest difference in those three game is the return of Zach Wilson and Garrett Wilson’s success with Joe Flacco has not translated to a “Wilson-to-Wilson” connection just yet. New York will likely be forced to throw more against Denver in Week 7 but it could be a defensive struggle on both sides. Wilson was arguably the top receiver in the draft and he’s shown the ability to thrive at the NFL level already, but it is hard to trust him for fantasy purposes until he shows it with Zach Wilson under center.
