Garrett Wilson caught 8-of-15 targets for 162 yards in New York’s 27-22 loss to the Vikings in Week 13.
Fantasy Impact: Wilson continued to gel with Mike White and saw a career-high 15 targets in Week 13, surpassing his previous high of 14 back in Week 2. It was also Wilson’s third 100+ yard game of his rookie year and he has gone over 92 receiving yards in four of his last five games. Wilson has now caught 13-of-23 targets for 257 yards and two touchdowns in the last two games and continues to show why he was worthy of the #10 overall selection in this spring’s NFL Draft. In his five starts this year with anyone besides Zach Wilson under center, the rookie has caught 31-of-56 passes for 471 yards and four touchdowns. This remains in stark contrast to his seven games with the lesser of the Jets’ Wilson under center where he caught fewer balls (26), saw fewer targets (38) for fewer yards (319), and zero touchdowns. It’s safe to say only one side of the Wilson-to-Wilson connection was keeping up his end of the bargain. Wilson will face a Bills team he was able to haul in eight receptions for 95 yards against even with Zach Wilson under center, so the sky could be the limit with White slinging it around the field in Week 14. Wilson is a must-start in all formats now that he has a QB capable of getting him the ball consistently.
