Gus Edwards rushed for 62 yards and two touchdowns on 12 carries, adding eight yards on two receptions in Thursday’s 34-20 win over the Bengals.
Fantasy Impact: Make it five straight games with at least one rushing touchdown for Edwards. Over that span, he has scored on one of every 6.8 carries, averaging 56.4 yards on 12.2 carries per game. Edwards does not get involved much in the passing game, coming up with only six receptions during the same stretch – one did notably go for 80 yards back in Week 7. He also shares the rushing load with rookie RB Keaton Mitchell and QB Lamar Jackson. This all makes Edwards a TD-dependent fantasy asset if there ever was one. Still, he is on such a roll right now, it’s tough not to deploy him as a Flex or even RB2 every week.
