Los Angeles Chargers running back Isaiah Spiller returned to the team Tuesday, according to Daniel Popper of The Athletic.
Fantasy Impact: Spiller missed less than two weeks after spraining his ankle in the Chargers’ second preseason game. It’s a positive sign to see the rookie back out on the field, but he may have ceded the backup running back position to Joshua Kelley. Spiller will still see action along with Kelley and Larry Rountree III to start the season until one of them emerges as the clear-cut favorite to be Austin Ekeler’s primary backup.
