J.K. Dobbins was held out of the Ravens’ minicamp, and now we know why. The 24-year-old running back is dealing with a soft tissue injury, according to head coach John Harbaugh.
Fantasy Impact: Injuries continue to be an issue for Dobbins, who missed all of 2021 with a torn ACL and played in just eight games in 2022. When healthy in 2022, he totaled 520 rushing yards, 42 receiving yards, and three touchdowns. He averaged an impressive 7.0 YPC from Weeks 14 to 17, showing off his efficiency as the clear No. 1 option in Baltimore’s backfield. He projects as the lead back once again, so although he will lose some volume to Lamar Jackson and Gus Edwards, Dobbins is still a strong option. He should be viewed as a fringe top-24 running back heading into 2023 fantasy drafts.
