According to team reporter Ryan Mink, Baltimore Ravens RB J.K. Dobbins is not expected to play in the team’s preseason closer against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
Fantasy Impact: Dobbins, who began camp with a hold-out, said that he has had “good conversations” with GM Eric DeCosta, saying he wants to finish his career in Baltimore. The positives for Dobbins in 2022 are that he is further removed from his midseason knee procedure that limited his explosiveness – despite which he still averaged 5.7 yards per carry. On the other hand, Dobbins has an early injury history and the Ravens are expected to be less run-heavy with the departure of offensive coordinator Greg Roman. His current average draft position is half-PPR RB20.
