According to Jordan Schultz, the Buffalo Bills are signing free agent TE Jace Sternberger after a successful workout Monday morning.
Fantasy Impact: Sternberger was drafted in the third round in 2019 by the Green Bay Packers, where he played two seasons and caught just 12 passes. Sternberger signed with the USFL’s Birmingham Stallions where he led the league in receiving touchdowns with seven and was fourth in receiving yards among all positions with 575 yards in 10 games. The Bills already have two pass-catching tight ends on the roster, Dawson Knox and Dalton Kincaid, so Sternberger will not likely see much of a role in 2023 if he makes the team’s final roster.
