Jacoby Brissett completed 22 of his 27 passes for 229 yards, one touchdown, and one interception in a 31-30 loss to the Jets in Week 2. He added 43 yards on six rushes in the loss.
Fantasy Impact: Brissett was efficient and kept the Cleveland offense moving all afternoon. He appeared to have a second touchdown on a six-yard pass to Donovan Peoples-Jones but the call on the field was overturned on review. His interception came on the final play of the game when he was targeting Amari Cooper in attempts to get his team into field-goal range. Brissett has two touchdowns and one interception through two games in 2022. In something worth monitoring leading up to Week 3’s contest. Brissett did limp off late in the fourth quarter after taking a hard hit but was able to return to the game and did not miss a snap. Brissett will be a QB3 in fantasy when the Browns take on the Steelers in Week 3’s Thursday night game.
