Current free-agent defensive end Jadeveon Clowney is reportedly in talks to sign a deal with the Cleveland Browns, per ESPN’s Dianna Russini.
Fantasy Impact: Clowney turned down an offer from the Browns last offseason and opted to instead sign a one-year, $13 million contract with the Tennessee Titans. The 28-year old defensive end only featured in eight games last season due to suffering a season-ending knee injury in November. He has since had surgery and is expected to make a full recovery by the start of the 2021 season and could soon be featured alongside Myles Garrett and Tak McKinley to create a formidable pass-rushing unit in Cleveland. Clowney failed to record a sack in 2020 but has 236 tackles, 32 sacks, 17 pass deflections, 10 forced fumbles, and an interception throughout his eight-year career. Continue monitoring the situation in Cleveland amidst ongoing rumors surrounding an imminent deal between Clowney and the Browns.
