Cleveland Browns DE Jadeveon Clowney (knee) appeared to be full speed during the team’s minicamp last week, per Jake Trotter of ESPN.
Fantasy Impact: Clowney signed a one-year, $10 million deal with the Browns this offseason after a disappointing 2020 season with the Titans. The 28-year old defensive end joins fellow No. 1 overall pick Myles Garrett in Cleveland and will look to dominate opposing tackles with a ferocious one-two punch off the edge. Clowney appeared to be explosive and participating at full speed in sprinting drills during Cleveland’s minicamp this past week, an impressive feat considering he underwent surgery to repair a torn meniscus in his left knee just six months ago. His health will largely determine the effectiveness of a completely revamped Browns defense in 2021.
