Jahan Dotson not targeted during first preseason action

Jahan Dotson was not targeted in the Commanders’ preseason loss Saturday, despite being on the field during all of Carson Wentz’s snaps.

Fantasy Impact: Obviously not receiving a target is not the best thing for a young receiver’s stock, but Dotson playing on all 22 snaps that Wentz did is a very promising sign for the Commanders’ first-round draft pick. It takes talent and opportunity to become a fantasy star, Dotson has undeniable talent being a first-round rookie out of Penn St., and it seems he will be on the field with the first team offense early and often in 2022. Once the targets start to flow Dotson could be a very promising fantasy piece. Draft him as a deep sleeper with obvious upside in dynasty formats.
