Jakobi Meyers caught two passes for 34 yards and one touchdown against the Bears in Week 7. Most notably, he was on the receiving end of a touchdown thrown by Bailey Zappe during his first drive of the game.
Fantasy Impact: Meyers is fortunate that he caught the touchdown. Otherwise, this production would have gone down as a fantasy dud. Although he is the Patriots’ best wide receiver, Meyers might drop to the WR3 tier in Week 8 as the Patriots take on a Jets secondary that is headlined by Defensive Rookie of the Year candidate Sauce Gardner.
