Jaleel McLaughlin is expected to earn significant snaps out of the backfield as early as Week 1. The rookie should be “counted on right from the start,” according to Parker Gabriel of the Denver Post.
Fantasy Impact: Gabriel labeled McLaughlin as the star of training camp. The undrafted free agent drew the praise of head coach Sean Payton and will compete for snaps during the season-opener versus Las Vegas, especially with Javonte Williams (knee) fresh off his ACL tear and Samaje Perine likely limited to passing downs. McLaughlin is an appealing dynasty buy and could even work his way into redraft relevance this season.
