San Francisco 49ers WR Jalen Hurd (knee) is expected to be ready for the start of the 2021 season after suffering an ACL tear in August 2020, per 49ers’ GM John Lynch.
Fantasy Impact: Hurd suffered injuries in back-to-back years, missing the entire 2020 season due to a torn ACL that occurred during training camp. The 6’4, 227-pound wideout converted from quarterback and has the elite size to win one-on-one balls on the perimeter. If Hurd can avoid further injury and solidify a role in the receiving corps after training camp, Brandon Aiyuk and Deebo Samuel become less attractive fantasy options in PPR formats, especially on a run-centric team led by head coach Kyle Shanahan.
