Jamaal Williams has agreed to terms on a three-year deal with the New Orleans Saints.
Fantasy Impact: Williams seemed to be on his way out of Detroit when they signed David Montgomery in free agency on Tuesday, and he has now agreed to terms with the Saints. New Orleans needs depth at the position despite having Alvin Kamara as the starter, and Williams also seems like an insurance policy if Kamara gets suspended for a pending legal issue he has. Williams’ fantasy value for next season will largely hinge on the future of Alvin Kamara, but he looks to be a decent RB2 option with high touchdown upside at the very least.
