Cincinnati Bengals superstar WR Ja’Marr Chase is expected to be sidelined for “some time” after receiving an MRI on his shoulder on Monday. His separated shoulder is expected to hold him out in Week 16 and maybe longer.
Fantasy Impact: It seems likely that Chase will be unavailable in Week 16, making it his first missed game of the season. Chase currently has 93 catches for 1,156 yards and seven touchdowns, playing with a hobbled Joe Burrow and backup QB Jake Browning. If Chase returns this season, he will likely be less than 100%, so for fantasy managers in the playoffs, another option will likely need to be turned toward for the stretch run. Tee Higgins should continue to see a significant target share, and WR Tyler Boyd enters Flex conversations, as he always delivers during the absences of either Chase or Higgins.
