James Cook only received one carry gaining two yards before fumbling in the Bills’ Week 1 victory.
Fantasy Impact: Cook was not used much, most likely due to him fumbling on his first touch, and now faces an uphill battle to regain the trust of the Bills’ coaching staff. As a rookie, it is expected that Cook would have growing pains, and the Bills’ spent a second-round pick on him, which would indicate that they will find ways to get him the ball. For the time being, however, Cook belongs on fantasy managers’ benches until he carves out a legitimate role in an offense that already has a lot of mouths to feed.
