According to Field Yates of ESPN, the New England Patriots are waiving fourth-year RB James Robinson.
Fantasy Impact: Robinson signed a two-year deal that included no guarantees and was incentive-driven due to health concerns. After tearing his Achilles, Robinson’s yards per attempt has dropped to just 3.9. Now, he is being waived before training camp begins. Robinson will be placed on the league’s waiver wire because of his age, and he will have the chance to be claimed by a team before entering free agency again. This move only further secures Rhamondre Stevenson’s role as the Patriots’ true RB1.
