According to Eric Woodyard of ESPN, Detroit Lions head coach Dan Campbell said they will “douse [WR Jameson Williams] with a ton of game reps” in the 2023 preseason.
Fantasy Impact: Williams missed the 2022 preseason and the first 11 games of his NFL career due to an ACL tear in college at Alabama that sidelined him. In 2023, he will miss his first six games due to a violation of the league’s gambling policy. Because of his lack of in-game experience, his reps in the preseason will be important for getting Williams back into game speed. Williams played just 78 snaps in 2022, receiving nine targets – of which he hauled in just one for a 41-yard touchdown.
