Saints WR Jarvis Landry did not suit up for Friday’s preseason game in Green Bay.
Fantasy Impact: Without QB Jameis Winston active for Friday’s preseason matchup, there was no reason to risk injury for the nine-year pro. Landry has been a consistent fantasy producer throughout his career, but has seemed to be underappreciated as a fantasy asset in recent years. Landry has never finished worse than a WR3 in PPR formats in any season that he has played at least 12 games. He is currently being drafted as the 49th WR heading into 2022, according to FantasyPros consensus ADP. He’s a WR with both a safe floor and high-upside in PPR formats. While his three WR1 seasons are in the distant past, don’t let Landry’s age fool you and while he does have more competition than in years past it wouldn’t be surprising if Winston were to lean on the veteran. Regardless, at his ADP he’s a huge draft steal for fantasy managers.
