Broncos RB Javonte Williams led all Broncos pass-catchers with 12(!) targets Week 1.
Fantasy Impact: Perhaps the biggest takeaway from the Broncos Week 1 is Williams leading the team in targets. In a game that was a neutral game sript. Williams is a clear buy. While the touch split with Melvin Gordon is prety even steven (for now), Williams is getting the high-value touches. And the upside in his fantasy football stock is him simply outplaying Gordon in the early part of the season and earning a higher market share of touches. In Week 1, Williams totaled seven carries for 43 yards and 11 receptions for 65 yards. That is, 18 touches for 108 scrimmage yards. Kudos to you, fantasy gamer, if you roster Williams. Let’s ride.
