According to Jeff Legwold of ESPN, Denver Broncos RB Javonte Williams said Sunday that he is “ready to go” and intends to be cleared by the team’s medical staff in time for training camp.
Fantasy Impact: The Broncos start camp on July 25, giving Williams a couple of weeks to be cleared to go. Williams tore his ACL in Week 4 of the 2022 season. Nearly 300 days later, he is ready to go for Year 3 of his career. In his rookie season, Williams cleared 1,200 total yards on five yards per touch as a part of a committee. With RB Melvin Gordon out of town, the expectation is that Williams can become the team’s bell cow, though Denver also signed RB Samaje Perine. Williams can be drafted on average as the half-PPR RB29, according to FantasyPros’ ADP data.
