Former free-agent QB Jeff Driskel has signed a one-year, $2.5M deal with the Houston Texans, per Adam Schefter.
Fantasy Impact: Driskel joins his fourth team in four years with nine starts across 15 games played during his first three seasons in the league. The 28-year old quarterback has completed 202 passes for 2,120 yards and 13 touchdowns during his three-year career and adds experience to a Texans’ quarterback room now comprised of rookie Davis Mills, Tyrod Taylor, Ryan Finley, and Deshaun Watson. Allegations surrounding Watson have not yet been fully resolved and it appears Houston is preparing for the worst with a bevy of quarterbacks to compete for the starting job if Watson is unable to play in 2021.
