The Cleveland Browns have selected LB Jeremiah Owusu-Koramoah with the No. 52 overall pick in the 2021 NFL Draft.
Fantasy Impact: Trading up with the Carolina Panthers to get to the No. 52 overall pick, the Cleveland Browns targeted Notre Dame LB Jeremiah Owusu-Koramoah as the latest addition to their strong defensive unit. He’s a twitchy hybrid linebacker-safety, allowing the Browns to drop him into coverage or rush him off the edge to rack up TFLs. The energetic and passionate Owusu-Koramoah is the second defensive selection for Cleveland in the draft, bringing intensity and making receivers and backs hesitant to cross the middle of the field on a route. The winner of the 2020 Butkus Award finished his senior season with 62 tackles, 11 TFLs, and three forced fumbles to wreak havoc all over the gridiron at the collegiate level. His skillset and motor will provide the spark needed to engage tight ends and big-bodied wideouts operating out of the slot.
