Jerome Ford has shown the ability to do “anything and everything” according to Cleveland’s running backs coach Stump Mitchell. He primarily operated as a kick returner in his rookie year but there is optimism he will not only continue in that role but also add receiving work in addition to being the main backup for Nick Chubb.
Fantasy Impact: Ford looks poised to be much more involved in the Browns’ offense this year after the departure of Kareem Hunt. While this is Nick Chubb’s backfield, Ford can still carve out a low-end flex play type of workload on a regular basis with the potential upside for a lot more should Chubb miss time.
