Jets D/ST allowed 17 points while collecting five sacks and two interceptions in New York’s 20-17 win over the Bills in Week 9.
Fantasy Impact: The Jets’ D/ST bounced back from a Week 8 loss to New England to hand Buffalo just their second loss of the season. After falling behind 14-3 early, the Jets’ defense hunkered down and held the Bills to just three points in the second half. Outside of his two first half touchdown runs, New York held Josh Allen to one of his worst fantasy days. They also shut down Stefon Diggs in the second half, holding the All-Pro wideout to zero catches on three targets after he hauled in 5-of-7 targets for 93 yards before halftime. Sauce Gardner, who picked off Allen set up the Jets’ go-ahead touchdown leads a potent Jets’ defense that has surprised everyone in the NFL outside of the Jets themselves. If they are somehow still available in your league and you can afford to stash them through their Week 10 bye, do it, as they could be a league winner in the second half of the season.
