Jimmy Garoppolo agrees to a restructured contract

Jimmy Garoppolo and the Raiders have agreed to a restructured contract that creates $17M in cap space.

Fantasy Impact: Garoppolo’s willingness to restructure his deal allows the Raiders to have more flexibility heading into the 2023 season. The 31-year-old veteran signed a three-year contract this offseason, but does have an opt-out after the 2024 season. Garoppolo played in 11 games with San Francisco last season and completed 67.2 percent of his passes for 2,437 yards, and tallied 16 touchdowns to four interceptions prior to suffering a season-ending injury.
