Joe Mixon has yet to clear the NFL’s concussion protocol and is reportedly a “long shot” to play on Sunday against the Chiefs.
Fantasy Impact: Mixon had reportedly been progressing well this week and fantasy managers surely expected him to suit up in the highly-anticipated matchup against the Chiefs. But, absent a sudden change in circumstances, it appears he’ll miss Sunday’s contest. Samaje Perine, who has put up two incredibly strong fantasy performances in Mixon’s absence, should draw the start again. Given his pass-catching prowess and the high O/U in what is expected to be a shootout, Perine should make a strong RB2 in Week 13, and be squeezed into as many DFS lineups as possible.
