Houston Texans rookie WR John Metchie III was officially placed on the active/non-football injury list Sunday afternoon after the announcement of his diagnosis with Acute Promyelocytic Leukemia.
Fantasy Impact: This is a terrible development for Metchie, who will miss the entire 2022 season as he fights his APL diagnosis. He can be dropped in all re-draft formats and dynasty managers should look to roster him on taxi or injured reserve. Expect second-year wide receiver Nico Collins and Phillip Dorsett to fill in primarily behind Brandin Cooks.
