According to Dan Graziano of ESPN, it wouldn’t be a surprise if Carolina Panthers rookie WR Jonathan Mingo emerges as Bryce Young’s favorite target in 2022.
Fantasy Impact: There’s plenty of reason to have optimism toward Mingo’s short-term and long-term outlook in Carolina. The Panthers invested significant draft capital into the Ole Miss WR, 39th pick, and he will be tied to the No. 1 pick, Young, for the foreseeable future. As well, there’s no intense target competition on the Panthers. Veteran WR Adam Thielen looks like Young’s early pre-season favorite, but he’s aging, leaving DJ Chark Jr. and Terrace Marshall Jr. Mingo may not be all there in Week 1, but he could be a mid-season add and a worthwhile dynasty investment.
