According to Barry Jackson of the Miami Herald, the Dolphins have actively pursued trade discussions with the Indianapolis Colts for disgruntled star RB Jonathan Taylor. They have delivered at least one offer which was not accepted and continue negotiations.
Fantasy Impact: The Dolphins seemed to have weathered the storm of potential veteran RB additions, but with a star like Taylor available, it’s hard to not imagine the offensive potential. Jackson also explicitly mentioned that the Chicago Bears and Denver Broncos expressed interest as well, though no team has met the Colts’ request for a first-round pick. Taylor was given a deadline of Tuesday, August 29 to find a trade, and according to Jackson, Miami is among several locations with which Taylor would be content.
