According to Stephen Holder of ESPN, RB Jonathan Taylor has been given until Tuesday, August 29 to find a trade, the deadline for 53-man roster cutdowns. Six teams are reported to be interested and two have engaged in offers.
Fantasy Impact: Taylor was granted permission to seek out trade opportunities, but he only has a week left. The Colts will have to make a decision on Taylor, who is on the PUP list, by Tuesday, either activating him or placing him on PUP/reserve which would force him to miss the first four games of the season. As well, the Colts will have to figure out their own RB situation in a post-Taylor world. Several teams have been rumored to have an interest in Taylor, including the Miami Dolphins and Los Angeles Chargers, though a destination is unclear at this point. This situation should remain monitored as Taylor is fantasy-relevant as an RB1 in all formats.
