Jonathan Taylor did not play in any of the Colts preseason games this summer, as the team elected to play it safe with their star running back.
Fantasy Impact: Taylor had nothing to prove this offseason, so any preseason reps for the All-Star RB would have been nothing more than the team taking risks it should not with their prized asset. The Wisconsin product finished the 2021 fantasy season as the RB1 in all of fantasy, and he will be looking to repeat that feat again this season as the team did little to upgrade their backfield, other than “promise” Nyheim Hines more touches that is. The Colts RB is as safe of a first overall pick as they come and he will likely remain the number one overall pick in all drafts leading up until the season kicks off.
