Titans GM Jon Robinson made it clear in a video conference Tuesday that TE Jonnu Smith could land with a different team this offseason as his rookie deal comes to an end.
Fantasy Impact: Smith, originally a third-round pick in 2017, has missed just four games in his four-year career with the Titans, totaling 1,302 yards and 16 touchdowns on 114 receptions. Smith could very well decide to move on from Tennessee, who utilized him more as a blocker this past season. Robinson told reporters he completely understands the nature of the business, and made it sound like the team is preparing to be without Smith come the 2021 season. Smith’s departure would open up playing time for both Anthony Firkser and MyCole Pruitt, or the Titans could opt to select a tight end in the upcoming draft.
