Fantasy Impact: Jonnu Smith didn’t play much in his first exhibition game with the Patriots, but he showed why the team was eager to add him in the offseason. He took a short pass from QB Cam Newton in the first quarter and turned it up the field for 17 yards. The Patriots motioned him around pre-snap and will look to find creative ways to allow him to gain yards after the catch. Expect Smith to play a big role in the teams passing offense this season.
