RB Jordan Howard’s one-year deal with the Eagles includes no guaranteed money.
Fantasy Impact: Howard re-signed a one-year deal with the Eagles during the offseason. His contract includes no guaranteed money and is considered a veteran salary benefit deal. “Honestly, my market was just pretty dry,” Howard said earlier this week. “I was at the point I was having thoughts I might be done because teams weren’t really calling.” Howard’s stock has drastically declined after signing a two-year, $9.75 million contract with the Dolphins in 2020, including $4.75 million guaranteed. The 26-year-old rushed for 60 yards on 35 attempts and four touchdowns across seven games for the Dolphins/Eagles last season. “I still feel like I have a lot left,” he said. “Past two years, I got the injury that put me out for a lot, last year I didn’t really play, so I feel like I have a lot left in the tank.” Howard has little to no fantasy value in 2021 and there are no guarantees that he makes the Eagles’ Week 1 roster.
