Josh Downs active in first preseason game

Josh Downs caught both of his targets for 29 yards in a 23-19 preseason loss to the Bills on Saturday.

Fantasy Impact: The rookie out of North Carolina is playing behind veteran Isaiah McKenzie out of the slot after the Colts used a third-round pick on him in this year’s NFL draft. Downs has a chance to overtake McKenzie as Indy’s starting slot receiver as soon as the beginning of the regular season if he continues to play well. He’s a solid stash in dynasty leagues.
