The Indianapolis Colts have selected WR Josh Downs with the No. 79 overall pick in the 2023 NFL Draft.
Fantasy Impact: The Colts get another weapon for rookie quarterback Anthony Richardson. Downs will join a wide receiver room with Michael Pittman Jr., Alec Pierce, and Isaiah McKenzie. While Downs may not have immediate fantasy value, the talent is there and the landing spot with a talented rookie quarterback is promising. Thor Nystrom has Downs ranked No. 64 overall and WR7 with an NFL comparison of Sterling Shepard on his Top 500 big board.
