Adam Schefter of ESPN reports that FA WR Josh Gordon has sent his reinstatement letter to NFL commissioner Roger Goodell.
Fantasy Impact: Gordon has been getting randomly drug tested for the past three months, Schefter said. He’s passed all of his drug tests, which is a step in the right direction. This has been an ongoing issue since Gordon’s last full season in the NFL in 2013. He’s hoping to be on a team by training camp, which is still yet to be seen. Gordon has played for the Patriots and Seahawks in the recent years, but has been constantly suspended by the NFL for substance abuse. Only 30-years old, Gordon still might have some juice left in the tank if he is indeed reinstated.
