According to Tom Pelissero of NFL Network, RB Josh Jacobs and the Las Vegas Raiders did not come to an agreement on a long-term deal ahead of the deadline on July 17.
Fantasy Impact: Jacobs has still not signed his franchise tag tender and it is unclear what his status is in Las Vegas going forward. Without signing his tender, Jacobs is not required to be present at training camp. Some reports have suggested Jacobs is a candidate to hold out and could miss the start of the season. The veteran RB led the NFL in rushing yards in 2022 with 1,653 yards and 12 touchdowns, finishing as the RB1 in standard fantasy leagues.
