Joshua Dobbs completed 20 of 30 passes for 158 yards with two touchdowns and no interceptions, adding 66 yards and another touchdown on seven carries in Sunday’s 31-28 win over the Falcons.
Fantasy Impact: What a week it has been for Dobbs, The 28-year-old quarterback was traded to Minnesota on just this past Tuesday which understandably led to him entering Sunday’s game as the Vikings’ No. 2 QB behind rookie Jaren Hall. After Hall was driven out of the game early, Dobbs took over the Minnesota offense after the first quarter. Dobbs did take a safety and lost two fumbles on the day, but his passing and rushing, especially late in the game, made everyone forget about those blunders. Dobbs led the team in rushing yards and found WR Brandon Powell for a game-winning touchdown with just 22 seconds remaining in regulation. Dobbs figures to have a hold on the starting gig for the Vikings now.
