Joshua Dobbs is expected to start at quarterback for the Cardinals in Week 9.
Fantasy Impact: When asked whether Dobbs would get the start next weekend, head coach Jonathan Gannon simply said, “Yeah.” Of course, there’s no quarterback controversy in Arizona. When Kyler Murray (knee) is ready to return, he will return. However, the Cardinals are in no rush to get him back, so it’ll be Dobbs getting the nod versus his old team, the Browns. The 28-year-old was impressive this Sunday versus Baltimore, completing 25 of 37 passes for 208 yards, two touchdowns, and two interceptions. He also took two sacks, ran for 26 yards, and added a rushing touchdown. Look for Dobbs to be a low-end QB2 in fantasy football next week.
