According to team reporter Mary Kay Cabot, Cleveland Browns QB Joshua Dobbs will sit the preseason Week 2 matchup between the Browns and Eagles.
Fantasy Impact: This is another strong indicator that the Browns view Dobbs as their QB2 in 2023, combined with him sitting out the Hall of Fame Game and being the second QB to play Week 1 behind Deshaun Watson. Rookie QB Dorian Thompson-Robinson has played great in the preseason and could push for the role, but for now, the veteran Dobbs looks like the answer. The former 2017 fourth-rounder started two games for Tennessee last season and has 85 career pass attempts.
