Joshua Palmer managed to haul in just 3-of-8 targets for 44 scoreless receiving yards in a Sunday night loss to the 49ers.
Fantasy Impact: Palmer was tasked with operating as the de facto WR1 for Los Angeles with both Keenan Allen and Mike Williams out due to injury. The results were disheartening, as Palmer did not produce well with the added opportunity. There is a chance both Allen and Williams may return for Week 11 which would relegate Palmer back to WR3 duties. The second-year post-hype fantasy candidate seems to play a better role for the Chargers in real life than he does in the virtual space.
