Buccaneers veteran wide receiver Julio Jones “will get work in during practice this week but will not play on Saturday,” according to a tweet from Pewter Report.
Fantasy Impact: Jones signed with the Buccaneers in July following Rob Gronkowski’s retirement. With Chris Godwin (ACL) currently sidelined, the 33-year-old is competing for the No. 2 role alongside reliable receiver Mike Evans. Jones spent 2021 with the Titans, catching just 31 passes for 434 yards and one touchdown through 10 games. Heading into 2022, he ranks 61st among wide receivers in the latest ECR.
