The Broncos’ defensive cutdown continues. After releasing A.J. Bouye last week, Denver is now parting ways with veteran defensive lineman Jurrell Casey, too.
Fantasy Impact: Casey was traded from the Titans to Denver for a seventh-round pick last offseason. He appeared in just three games before suffering a season-ending biceps injury. He made 14 tackles, including two on the quarterback and one for loss, before being shut down for the year. His absence was felt in a defensive line that also lost Mike Purcell (foot) and Shelby Harris (COVID-19) for a solid chunk of time. The five-time Pro Bowler will look to bounce back as he plays for his third team in three years next season.
