Chicago Bears HC Matt Nagy says he has been impressed with rookie QB Justin Fields since minicamp and OTAs, noting that he has done his homework on the offence, per Jeff Dickerson of ESPN.
Fantasy Impact: Nagy has been adamant that Andy Dalton will be the starting QB for the Bears, but we’ve seen enough of Dalton to know that isn’t likely to last long. Fields is a dynamic athlete with a rocket arm and the physical makeup of a power RB. He’s likely to be starting sooner rather than later and presents good value right now as QB18. The Bears offence has good playmakers, a solid running game, and Fields can score points running and passing the ball.
