Chicago Bears QB Justin Fields was taken off of the team’s injury report and is expected to play against the Detroit Lions on Sunday in Week 11.
Fantasy Impact: Fields has been absent since Week 6 when he injured his thumb. His four-game sidelining gave way to undrafted rookie QB Tyson Bagent, who held down the fort well enough while the team awaited Fields’ return. Before his injury, Fields had consecutive top-three finishes at QB in fantasy football, but beyond fantasy, this final stretch of the season will be largely influential in Fields’ role with the team going forward, especially if they finish with a top pick – either their own or via the Carolina Panthers.
